MOBILE APPLICATIONS MANAGER

Mandate:
The team’s mandate is to help the company’s largest and most important customers solve business problems by utilizing the latest in wireless technologies to implement innovative mobile solutions.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include writing code for the mobile platform utilizing all aspects of the enterprise architecture. The role requires both technical aptitude and business acumen to find creative solutions to real customer problems. A highly charged environment while striving to further develop your technical and customer capabilities.

Qualifications:

Development of Mobile Applications

Java ME and Java ME optional packages (JSRs)

Java Application Development and Coding

RDBM expertise ( Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL Anywhere)

Multi-Tier application development using .Net framework and/or Java Enterprise Edition

Application Development Lifecycle and Methodology

XML (DTD, Schema, XSLT, DOM, SAX)

SQL ( writing SQL queries)

Object Oriented Programming(OOP) and Object Oriented Design (OOD)

Strong technical aptitude and problem solving ability.

Solid organizational skills, using time efficiently and work effectively.

Ability to work on your own and reaching out for assistance as needed.

Understands team work, how to participate and how to contribute

 

Familiarity with:

Microsoft Developer’s tools

.Net Framework

Java Enterprise Edition Development

Eclipse IDE

Familiarity and practical experience with the following is a plus:

Development and deployment of Java Mobile Applications

C++

Experience developing mobile browser applications

Knowledge of design patterns

Knowledge/experience with web services.

Experience with networking protocols such as, HTML, HTTP, HTTPS, TCPIP
